This is a critical edition of the the Samaritan Exodus. It contains the text of Exodus in Samaritan script with significant differences to the Hebrew Masoretic Text marked below the text in a critical apparatus. Furthermore, uncommon words are glossed and difficult forms are parsed. This unique book immerses the reader in the Samaritan Pentateuch supplying glosses to difficult words and listing textual variants against the Masoretic Text. To achieve this, all uncommon words that occur 30 times or fewer in the Samaritan Pentateuch are glossed as footnotes. This enables the reader to continue reading every passage unhindered. Furthermore, every difference against the Masoretic Text, except less orthographic changes, are marked in a critical apparatus below the text.
